I just visited the official page of 3K RazorBook 400 (formerly 3K Longitude), and noticed they have revealed the Linux OS that will come along with their RazorBook. It’s Genuine GTK Linux OS version 2.4. And it comes along with Linux Office Suite, as they call it. (AbiWord, GNUMeric, Email Client, PDF Reader)
Other than that, I never noticed any changes on other specs. It’ll still ship with 400 megahertz Ingenic Processor.
It will sell @ $399 and I don’t think this is going to attract costumers. Though according to them, they have high demand of the product globally. I have been offering my Asus Eee PC 701 to my colleagues, 25% off the original price and they all say they’ll get the Eee PC 900 instead or other full specs laptop.
3K RazorBook was released worldwide 2 weeks ago.

This is perfect for students who just need basic computing tasks such as word processing, access to excel spreadsheets, wi-fi, and for $399?? Seems like a home run if you ask me. If you want crazy computing power your going to spend more than $399.00.
For all you guru’s - It’s not about the speed its about the architecture, size, and portability. Today’s modern dual core processors operate at half the speed (on average) of the last couple of years’ hyper threading CPU’s yet they are considerably faster than their predecessors.

I agree Tim with your remarks, but remember we all worship the eee pc
This Razorbook at $399 is expensive compared to what the competition has to offer
